Maintenance Tips
  • Clean fan & airflow system: Remove dust from the axial propeller fan and louvers to maintain strong airflow (≈1921 CFM) and efficient heat distribution.
  • Inspect heat exchanger annually: Check the TCORE2® aluminized steel exchanger for cracks or corrosion to ensure safe operation and long lifespan.
  • Check ignition & gas pressure: Test the direct spark ignition system and verify gas pressure to prevent startup issues and uneven heating.
  • Keep venting system clear: Ensure the power vent and flue (5" outlet) are free from obstructions to avoid heat loss and exhaust hazards.
  • Monitor electrical components: Inspect wiring, LED diagnostics, and control board for faults; tighten loose connections to avoid downtime.
  • Inspect motor & noise levels: Check vibration-isolated fan and venter motors for smooth, low-noise operation.
  • Schedule yearly professional servicing: Maintains efficiency (~83% AFUE) and ensures warranty compliance (up to 9 years on heat exchanger).
