TRUE Hobart 6801-18 Vertical Electric Meat Saw - HT680118

The Hobart 6801-18 Vertical Electric Meat Saw features an open design which is easy to clean, simply hose it down. The integrated pulley design is precisely balanced for true-running of the blade. The 3-H.P. motor is totally enclosed and water resistant.

A single pull-to-start, push-to-stop switch makes Hobart meat saws very simple to operate. Hobart designed their meat saws to be easy to use safely. Both the upper and lower pulleys are completely enclosed. The blade is guarded above and below the cutting zone. There is a pusher plate to eliminate the need for handling items too close to the blade.

  • Disconnect Power: Always disconnect electrical power and tag the disconnect before cleaning or maintenance to ensure technician and operator safety.
  • Lubricate Bearings: After cleaning, apply a small amount of mineral oil to carriage ball bearings, gauge slide rod, and pulley shafts to keep movement smooth and prevent corrosion.
  • Blade Care: Inspect blade tension and condition regularly; ensure guides, scrapers, and flange assemblies are correctly reinstalled after cleaning.
  • Inspect Safety Features: Check blade guards, pusher plate, and carriage lock before use to maintain safe operation zones around the cutting blade.
  • Professional Servicing: Arrange periodic professional inspection and service for electrical, drive, and motor components to uphold reliability and compliance.
