  • Use built-in sharpener regularly: The top-mounted ceramic sharpening system restores blade edge in seconds—keep the 12" knife sharp for consistent slicing.
  • Inspect blade condition: Check the chrome-plated carbon steel blade for dullness or damage; a sharp blade ensures clean cuts and reduces motor strain.
  • Keep safety guard in place: Ensure the permanent ring guard is secure during operation and cleaning to protect users from injury.
  • Clean and check belt drive system: The Poly V-belt drive should remain clean and properly tensioned for smooth, quiet operation and longer service life.
  • Avoid overuse beyond duty cycle: Designed for medium-duty (≈4 hours/day), excessive use can shorten motor lifespan—operate within recommended limits.
  • Keep slicer dry and corrosion-free: Dry all components after washing to prevent rust and maintain durability of metal parts.
